Adult Therapy

Maybe you’re carrying more than you know what to do with. Maybe you’re at a crossroads. Maybe you’ve spent so much time meeting everyone else’s expectations that you’re starting to wonder what you actually want. Whatever brings you here, therapy can be a place to explore it.

What’s weighing on you. What’s becoming you.

Sometimes therapy is about learning how to navigate what you’re feeling. Other times, it’s about figuring out who you are beneath everyone else’s expectations. At The Hidden Meadow, there’s room for both.

Maybe you’re still figuring out who you are. Maybe you already know, but you’re learning how to feel more comfortable being that person. We can explore the experiences, expectations, relationships, and values that have shaped you, and what you want your life to look like moving forward.

That might mean exploring sexuality, gender, and belonging, sitting with bigger questions about meaning and purpose, or learning to make decisions that are actually yours.

A whole person, not separate pieces

Body, eating, and coordinated care

I have prior clinical experience with body image, disordered eating, anorexia, and bulimia, and training in an eating-disorder treatment setting. I’m a member of Central Texas Eating Disorder Specialists (CTEDS). This is experience I bring to our work, not a claim to be an eating-disorder specialist.

Depending on your needs, and with appropriate authorization, we may coordinate with a physician, registered dietitian, psychiatrist, or another provider. Not everyone needs a multidisciplinary team; we’ll consider what makes sense for your care.

Suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and difficult experiences are welcome conversations. Treatment depends on clinical assessment, therapist competence, telehealth suitability, safety needs, and level of care. When more intensive or additional support is needed, I’ll help connect you with appropriate care.
